Midsummer Night is a unique manifestation of dreams and memories of love and sensuality. Two bodies are lovingly entwined in an inseparable whole; their forms speak to each other and tell stories. The work is very typical of the first half of Ásmundur Sveinsson’s career – a solid whole with no air between the body parts.
