Sheaths is based on a combination of poetic texts, drawings and watercolors of clothes by Anna Jóa.&nbsp;&nbsp;
The artist's thoughts about time and place intertwined in the making of the paintings and were arranged on paper as texts that in a broader sense deal with the creative process and the nature of the transformation of the environment and worlds.&nbsp;
The book also includes poems translated by Sarah Brownsberger and an epilogue by Jóhannes Dagsson in both Icelandic and English.&nbsp;
