Teachers and staff from preschools, primary schools, and youth and recreation centres are invited to Uppspretta, a dynamic marketplace where a wide range of organisations showcase inspiring events, educational opportunities, tools, and field trips that support creative and engaging school and leisure activities.
The programme includes presentations of a wide range of opportunities from the following organisations, along with short spotlight presentations:
Alþingi (Icelandic Parliament), The Árni Magnússon Institute for Icelandic Studies, Reykjavík City Library, Reykjavík City Theatre, Reykjavík City Museum, Reykjavík Family Park and Zoo, Reykjavík Botanical Garden, Icelandic Museum of Design and Applied Art, The Equality School, Arts for All, Einar Jónsson Art Museum, National Gallery of Iceland, Reykjavík Art Museum, Centre for Language and Literacy, Centre for Outdoor Learning and Education, Centre for Education and School Services, Mixtúra Creative and Information Hub, Centre for Educational Innovation, RÚV (Icelandic National Broadcasting Service), Iceland Symphony Orchestra, National Theatre of Iceland, and the National Museum of Iceland.
Light refreshments and a welcoming atmosphere will be provided.
