The performance FERRO, GUDMUNDSSON, MILISKOVIĆ by Branko Milisković takes place on Thursday, 25 June from 10-22.00 in Hafnarhús.
Drawing from Erró’s archive, Branko Milisković performs a twelve-hour reading of selected correspondence—letters from gallerists, collaborators, authorities, and friends—activated across different spaces in the museum.
By bringing private documents into a public, live setting, the work reveals the social and personal dimensions behind the artist’s practice, while engaging the archive as a living, interpretive space.
Branko Milisković (b. 1982) is a performance and media artist whose practice spans performance, video, sound, photography, and text. Educated in Belgrade, The Hague, and Hamburg, he has presented work internationally since 2005 at prominent venues and festivals throughout Europe and North America. His work has been published in key studies of contemporary performance art and is included in institutional and private collections worldwide.
The performance will be in English.
