Markús Þór Andrésson, Director of the Reykjavík Art Museum, leads a walk exploring outdoor artworks along Sæbraut on Thursday, July 16 from 20:00–21:30. The walk begins at Harpa.
Along the route are diverse memorials as well as standalone artworks by Icelandic and international artists.
Evening Walks is a series organized by Reykjavík City Library, Reykjavík Museum of History, Reykjavík Art Museum, and Reykjavík UNESCO City of Literature.
The walks are free of charge and take place on Thursday evenings from 20:00–21:30 throughout the summer months. Please note that the starting locations vary.
The full programme can be found on the museums’ websites and on the Facebook page “Kvöldgöngur.” Participation is free, but a ferry fee applies when the walks take place in Viðey.
