D47 Logi Leó Gunn­ars­son: Until now, we have not decip­h­ered the signals from these sound emitters

Logi Leó Gunnarsson (b. 1990) works with sound, sculptures and video in unexpected combinations and installations that often take over the exhibition space in playful ways. He uses everyday materials in combination with music, recording and sound equipment and thus makes the audience look and listen to familiar things in a new way.

Reykjavik Art Museum‘s D-Gallery exhibition series started in 2007. Emerging artists, who are shaping the local contemporary art scene, are invited to hold their first solo show in a public museum. Logi Leó is the 47th artist to exhibit in the series. He graduated from the Iceland University of the Arts in 2014 and has been active in the art scene in Iceland and abroad.
