Klemens Hannigan

Klemens Hannigan (f. 1994) is a multiskilled artist, musician and craftsman. He is equally adept at furniture and song making and has a rich sense of composition, material, and space. He thinks with his hands and tools directly in relation to the material. Klemens describes his work as reflections on form and formlessness, weight and weightlessness. Klemens graduated from the Fine Arts department of the Iceland University of the Arts in 2022, since then he has worked as an artist and musician for various bands but also under his own name, alongside running his own furniture workshop. Klemens is a productive and focused artist with diverse interests. Throughout his career, he has engaged in fruitful collaborations with various artists in both visual arts and music, enjoying the creative and diverse artistic environment.
