Guðmunda Kristinsdóttir Arts Fund (Mundusjóður)
Every year an award is issued by Guðmunda Kristinsdóttir’s Arts Fund, a fund estalished by the artist Erró in memory of his late aunt.
The goal of the fund is to support female artists and promote them in their artistic creation.
The fund is a non-profit organisation under the custody of the Reykjavík City Council. The fund is supervised by the City of Reykjavík and the Erró Collection, and its board is made up of the directors of the Reykjavík Art Museum, the Icelandic National Gallery and the Akureyri Art Museum.
