The K Factor: The painter Johannes S. Kjarval

This exhibition presents Kjarval's work and career in the light of his defining ideas. The exhibition attempts to do justice to the master's complex and fragmentary worldview, in the hope of shedding new light on his work for contemporary viewers. The curator is visual artist Einar Garibaldi Eiríksson, whose own paintings grapple with our view of nature and the significance of Kjarval's work.
