The exhibition includes portraits from the years 1986-1989 by Helgi Þorgils Friðjónsson and Hallgrímur Helgason.

Helgi Þorgils Friðjónsson (born March 7, 1953 in Búðardalur) is an Icelandic visual artist. He grew up in Búðardalur until the age of fifteen, but then moved to Reykjavík. Helgi studied at Iceland's school of art and craft 1971-1976. After that, he went to The Hague and studied at the De Vrije Academy and the following year at the Jan van Eyck Academy in Maastricht, Holland. He finished his studies there in 1979 and then returned home.

Hallgrímur Helgason (b. February 18, 1959 in Reykjavík) is an Icelandic writer, painter, translator, caricaturist and columnist. He attended the Iceland's school of art and craft in the winter of 1979 - 1980 and the Academy of Arts in Munich 1981 - 1982.
