Erró-War

This exhibition focuses on political paintings by Erró. Politics are an extensive part of Erró's art and may be divided into clear categories: References to the Second World War, Vietnam, Mao and Maoism, East-West relations, the general political situation in the 1970s and 1980, and treatments of individual politicians. Disregarding the political content of these works and the artist's standpoint, they are all part of the visual narrative system which has carved him a niche in the art world..
