Reykjavik Art Museum brings attention to promising artists with a series of exhibitions in D-Gallery, series which won the DV culture award last year. Common to all of these artists is the fact that none of them have had an exhibition in any of the major galleries in the country and their works are specifically created for this space. Bjarni massi (Bjarni Þór Sigurbjörnsson) is the 18th artist to exhibit in the D-Gallery.

Bjarni graduated from the Iceland Academy of the Arts in 2002. He has been active in the visual art scene locally and abroad, directed short films and documentaries and designed sets for theatres. Curated by Yean Fee Quay.
