This year, we celebrate the 99th anniversary of 66°North, and to mark the occasion, we are hosting a special exhibition titled “99 Years – 867,815,464 Hours.”
The name symbolizes the company’s long history, now spanning 99 years. The title symbolizes the total hours since our founding in 1926. It is also relevant to 66°North’s approach, which focuses on timeless design and quality. Through this, the company aims to emphasize the importance of consumers choosing quality over quantity and being mindful of what they purchase.
Statistics show that 60% of clothing is simply discarded, ending up in landfills or burned, making it more important than ever to invest in durable garments that can be passed down through generations. At DesignMarch, we showcase classic and historical pieces alongside newer designs, including, for example, a fisherman’s coat from the 1940s and clothing from the Olympic Games.
