Guðrún Kristjánsdóttir will give a guided tour of the exhibition Traces on its final day. The exhibition has been running since February.

Guðrún has established a distinctive position in Icelandic art through works that explore the relationship between nature and humanity, shaped by Iceland’s weather and light.

Born in 1950, Guðrún Kristjánsdóttir studied fine art at the École des Beaux-Arts in Aix-en-Provence, France. She held her first solo exhibition at Kjarvalsstaðir in 1986 and has since exhibited extensively in Iceland and abroad, including throughout Europe, the United States, and Asia. Guðrún has worked as an artist for more than four decades and has also served as a curator, editor, and lecturer.
