Artist Melanie Ubaldo (1992) has received a grant from The Svavar Guðnason and Ásta Eiríksdóttir Art Award. The grant was awarded at the National Gallery of Iceland.

The US Embassy in Iceland has given the Reykjavík Art Museum a substantial grant for the art exhibition Down Иorth: North Atlantic Triennial, which will be set up at Reykjavík Art Museum - Hafnarhús in the autumn of 2022.
