Artist Carl Boutard focuses on these elements in his and Ásmundur Sveinsson‘s exhibition. Carl’s sculptural practice has been shaped by his devotion to the environment, both natural and man-made. Often situated or created in public space, his work reflects on the relationship between human beings, nature and culture.

Carl Boutard, born 1975 in Kiruna, is Assistant Professor at the Department of Fine Art at Iceland University of the Arts.
