Artwork in a bottle message found in Norway

Flöskuskeyti Philippe Richard
Recently, we received several photos of a message in a bottle sent from Northern Norway. The bottle was found at Karlsøyvær in the Bodø municipality. Intresting enough this bottle was part of an art exhibition by the French artist Philippe Richard who in 1996 showed 180 small paper works in Kjarvalsstaðir, which were all put in a bottle and sent out to sea after the exhibition.

According to the instructions in the bottle the work is now owned by Birger Haftor Nilsen in Norway who found the message and let us know. You can read more about the exhibition at Kjarvalsstadir here: Philippe Richard.
