Let's Play Art!

Let‘s draw like the 20.  century masters. How do you capture something far away on a piece of paper right in front of you?

Artist Sigríður Melrós guides families in a sketcing workshop, drawing inspiration from landscape paintings by Jóhannes Kjarval and his contemporaries.

Let’s Play Art is the title of the Reykjavík Art Museum’s Family Programme. Children are especially welcome to the museum, with their parents, to look at and experience art through games and interesting discussions. 

The program is planned for children accom­panied by adults, to ensure that your visit to the museum is quality time spent for the family. 

Free for children under the age of 18.
