Lunchtime with a designer: Tinna Gunnarsdóttir

Tinna Gunnarsdóttir product designer talks about her multi-purpose tray called Dome, from the idea until production.
Registration is required HERE.
The Dome refers to the domed house of sculptor Ásmundur Sveinsson. Old photographs, models and drawings of the domed house emphasize simplicity - a hemisphere rests on top of a square. From the bird's point of view, the hemisphere becomes a circle and the square is indescribably thick.
The event is a part of Reykjavík Art Museum´s exhibition at Design March - Design for Sculptor Ásmundur Sveinsson. Exhibition of products designed by five product designers for the museum shop at Ásmundarsafn. Ásmundur Sveinsson's visual world has been a source of ideas for new useful products dedicated to the artist's memory and his contribution to Icelandic cultural and handicraft heritage.
The other designers are Björn Steinar Blumenstein, Brynhildur Pálsdóttir, Friðrik Steinn Friðriksson and Hanna Dís Whitehead.
