Gallery Talk – The Power of Images: Living Among Images

Aðalsteinn Ingólfsson, art historian, will give a guided tour of the exhibition Erró: The Power of Images under the title Life among Pictures at Hafnarhús.

Aðalsteinn Ingólfsson is an art historian, self-employed curator and critic. He has published over forty books on Icelandic art and culture and on two hundred exhibition projects at home and abroad. He is also the author of Erró´s biography, published in 1991.
The Power of Images is installed across Reykjavík Art Museum – Hafnarhús, with more than 300 artworks of various kinds, as well as, photographs and other information about the artist exhibited. The exhibition reflects Erró’s remarkable career and is considerably based upon the artist's donation of art to the City of Reykjavík..
In connection with the exhibition Erró: The Power of Images, there will be gallery talks related to the themes of the exhibition.
