Artist Talk - Sigurður Guðjónsson

Artist Sigurður Guðjónsson will give an artist talk about the exhibition Transits at Hafnarhús on Good Thursday, November 24 at 20.00

Following the artist talk, the film work Deathbed (2006) by Sigurður will be shown in the museum's multipurpose hall.

Transits explores the movements, fluxes and discrete drifts occurring in the material world. The selection making up the exhibition comprises both recent work and one new production. As a unified composition, all the works are rooted in the artist’s exploration of micro-landscapes and video imaging where the visible, the audible and the spatial form an unbroken whole. 

This event marks the beginning of Reykjavík Art Museum's autumn conference, KvikMyndlist, which will take place on the 25-26. November

Malbygg brewery will have a pop-up bar on the second floor of Hafnarhús Thursday and Friday.
